Vladivostok route 2019 is behind us. Three and a half months of motorcycling remains in my fond memory.

The journey on which the Russian city of Vladivostok is set as the only point and the only destination we want to reach with motorcycles is fulfilling.

A city in the Russian Far East that was worth about 12500 kilometers of driving through the ruthless Siberian expanse gave us a welcome we had never hoped for. In fact ... the whole of Russia and the people of this vast country are very welcoming and hospitable. There were no issues worth mentioning during the trip.

The fact that we are close to the border with North Korea gives the whole trip a special charm. I can't help but get the impression that the stories of this isolated country are as exaggerated as the stories I heard before entering Russia. Russia, they say, is a very troubled country, full of criminals and robbers who intercept you at every turn. Police exert tremendous terror on foreign travelers and charge them very heavy fines. We have never really encountered such things and the whole journey went on without a single incident. About 40 days of Russian adventure and more than 20,000 kilometers we traveled through this country and not once did anyone look at us badly. They wouldn't even see the police if I hadn't decided to stop by and ask to be photographed for a memorial.

I will write about our Russian adventure and my continued journey to the remaining three outermost land points of Europe in the next few articles, which you will be able to read here.

Part of the atmosphere I tried to convey to you in a video bellow.

I hope you enjoy watching ...
